Assistant researcher, University of Science & Technology of China (2012-2013), then Postdoc, IMDEA Materials Institute, Spain (2013-2014), now Associate Prof., University of Science & Technology of China (2014-). PhD obtained from University of Science & Technology of China (2008-2013). Research has been involving high-performance flame-retardant polymer materials technology, including synthesis of novel halogen-free and bio-based flame retardants, application of novel inorganic-organic hybrid nano-materials in flame retardant epoxy composites, and multi-functional (flame-retardant, superhydrophobic, UV-resistant, anti-static, anti-bacterial) coatings for woods and textiles.
