A Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, Director of the Faculty of Information Technology at Zhejiang University, Chief Scientist of the National Digital Printing Engineering Technology Research Center, and a member of the National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Strategic Advisory Committee. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Applications from Zhejiang University in 1990. He has served as the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Technology, Dean of the Software College, and Director of the Institute of Computer Software, all at Zhejiang University. He was awarded the National May 1st Labor Medal in 2012 and was elected as a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2015. He has long been engaged in cutting-edge research in the field of computer applications, focusing on the research and development of big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies and systems.
