Abstract
En 中文
• First Chinese report of optrA-positive E. faecalis ST699 lineage from retail meat. • Animal-derived foods are key reservoirs for optrA-positive MDR Enterococci. • optrA is stably co-located with erm(A), ant(9)-Ia, and fexA on Tn554. • Foodborne isolates exhibit a broader resistome than human isolates. • A foodborne ST699 isolate displayed enhanced fitness and virulence in vivo.
