Abstract

• Valorized I. vestita oilseed cake into a valuable flavonoid source. • Developed HP-20 resin method achieving a sixfold increase in flavonoid purity. • FTIR and molecular docking suggested hydrophobic, π–π stacking, and hydrogen-bonding interactions. • Purified flavonoids showed markedly enhanced antioxidant activity. • LC–QTOF–MS/MS identified 72 polyphenolics, including 32 flavonoids.
