满意无穷时域MPC（S-IHMPC）结合了两种独立的发展成果，即满意MPC和无穷时域MPC。由此产生一种基于局部性能而非权重的工业级控制器，使调谐过程更加简便。该控制器还能保证名义稳定性，实现区域控制，并适用于不可达设定点。其建模方式适合实际工业应用，因为它从传递函数出发，给定的实现方式简化了稳定性条件的设计。
