Abstract

• A theoretical stiffness model for the proposed structure is established. • The negative stiffness range is broadened, improving load capacity and isolation performance. • Geometric parameters l, h, and t influence the quasi-static compressive response. • The proposed structure shows better low and broadband-frequency vibration isolation. • An experiment confirms the vibration isolation performance of the proposed structure.
