• We provide a short background on Streaming Machine Learning (SML) and Continual Learning (CL), highlighting their similarities and differences. • We define the Streaming Continual Learning (SCL) scenario, which offers the opportunity to merge ideas from CL and SML into a unified paradigm. • We conduct an empirical evaluation showcasing the need for Streaming Continual Learning (SCL).
