Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Two dihydroquinoline derivatives were synthesized via a modified Doebner reaction. • Stable dihydroquinolines were obtained instead of the expected aromatized quinolines. • Both compounds exhibited fluorescence in aqueous media and AIE. • The ortho-hydroxy-substituted derivative showed intramolecular hydrogen bonding. • Compounds showed moderate cytotoxicity and potential tubulin/DNA interactions.
