Retrieval Practice in Stepwise Worked Examples Improves Learning
DOI:10.1016/j.learninstruc.2025.102196.png)
Abstract
En 中文
• We test a new approach to add retrieval to worked examples of problem-solving tasks. • Learners were prompted to retrieve and execute each step before it was revealed. • The stepwise prompting enhanced recall and problem-solving after one week. • Retrieval success during practice correlated with performance on the delayed test. • Retrieval prompts could be a simple way to enhance example-based learning.
