The timestamp effect: How prior contribution timing shapes future donations
DOI:10.1016/j.ijhm.2025.104423.png)
Abstract
En 中文
• The effect of prior contribution timing on consumers’ donation intention is mediated by perceived velocity. • Specifically, a recent (vs. distant) prior contribution timing leads to a higher perceived velocity and donation intention. • Matching gifts moderate the relationship between perceived velocity and donation intention. • Spatial distance moderates the relationship between perceived velocity and donation intention.
