动态能力（DC）理论被创新学者广泛使用，但鲜有实证研究以实践者可应用的方式运用这些理论。此外，当动态能力的测量与企业绩效的测量重叠时，动态能力研究往往容易陷入同义反复的问题。为填补这一空白，本文探讨了学者如何帮助企业在创造动态能力方面发挥作用。我们采用设计科学研究方法，让学者与实践者合作，共同解决目标企业（微观DC）在管理大量同时进行但依赖同一资源池的产品开发项目时面临的挑战。为应对这一挑战，我们设计了并实施了一项过程技术工具。因此，本研究展示了如何基于设计科学，通过开发一项具有实践意义的解决方案来解决一个现实中的动态能力挑战。
